The Feast of Ascension is now here with us! To me, it is a lovely celebration of hope! Think of it; after the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, his resurrection breath life to the phrase – ‘life after death’.
But his ascension to heaven was even beautiful. More particularly, if really, Christ ascended into Heaven with the marks of his crucifixion, intact – as he showed them to Thomas his disciple, then what a constant reminder to all the Heavenly hosts; of the heavy price that was paid for me, and all my fellow sinners here on earth!
